Earth and Sky — a poem

When you returned to the earth

Released from this life to another

I wasn’t sure how I was going to keep growing

How I was to proceed

Where my journey would take me

How I would find my knowing

But as the stone of grief lightened

With time passing by

I realised though you were once again earth

You were also of the sky

You are everywhere

Surrounding me

Moulding me, Making me

Guiding me in the understanding

Of life, of love and being free.
